DESCRIPTION:We would like to extend an invitation to join the Chamber Youth Ambassador Program. This program is designed to help juniors and seniors develop leadership skills\, gain exposure to the business community\, and make connections for their future careers.\n\n \n\nJuniors & Seniors located at our five Henry County schools:\n\nBlue River Valley High School\n\nKnightstown Comm. High School\\\n\nNew Castle School Corporation\n\nShenandoah High School\n\nTri Junior Senior High School\n\n\n\nThe Youth Ambassador Program is designed for juniors and seniors who are eager to enhance their portfolios and resumes by gaining valuable experience in civic engagement\, government\, business networking\, and more. Through this volunteer program\, participants will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in various events and activities that contribute to their professional development.\n\n\n\nProgram Highlights:\n\nDuration: June 4 to August 2\, 2024\n\nTime Commitment: Approximately 5 hours per week\n\nActivities: Business networking\, civic engagement\, community service projects\, and more\n\nSpeaker Program: Engage with local business owners on topics including resume writing\, investment and retirement\, economic development\, civic-mindedness\, job structure\, marketing\, and more\n\n\nBenefits \n\nValuable experience in diverse professional settings\n\nEnhance portfolios and resumes\n\nReferral letter and certificate upon program completion\n\nCommunity service opportunities that make a positive impact
