Description
The Chamber Youth Ambassador Program presented by Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service is a leadership and career-readiness opportunity designed for high school students who want to grow professionally, serve their community, and build valuable real-world skills.
Youth Ambassadors represent the Chamber at community and business events, participate in leadership development activities, and gain firsthand exposure to how local businesses, nonprofits, and government organizations work together to strengthen Henry County.
What Students Gain
At the conclusion of the program, each Youth Ambassador will receive:

A personalized referral letter outlining their involvement, leadership contributions, and skills demonstrated throughout the program — perfect for college, scholarship, and job applications.

An official Chamber Youth Ambassador Certificate to include in their professional portfolio.

Resume-building experience through real community engagement and event participation.

Professional networking opportunities with business leaders, elected officials, nonprofit directors, and Chamber members.

Duration: June 9 to August 7, 2026
Time Commitment: Approximately 5 hours per week
Activities: Business networking, civic engagement, community service projects, and more
Speaker Program: Engage with local business owners on topics including resume writing, investment and retirement, economic development, civic-mindedness, job structure, marketing, and more
